So here we are a little over a week before Christmas and we are in that last weekend before any serious Christmas Eve party prep can begin and I need something to do with the kids this weekend! The house is decorated, the cookies are made and I need to keep them busy and find a fun craft to do. I have been looking around, and found some really adorable DYI Christmas ornament ideas that are easy and even my littlest one can help.
Here are some of my favorite ones that I have found so far:
This one is just so sweet and who doesn't love glitter on EVERYTHING around the holidays! I don't know about you, but I would rather pick up glitter than pine needles at the end of the season :) You can also really use this same concept and make an entire tree of glitter animals......I might try that next year for the kids tree!

Gumdrops are not just for gingerbread houses! These adorable Gum Drop Pomander ornaments are just perfect for the tree or hanging in a doorway like a sweet mistletoe.
I am going to really try not to eat all of these before I put glue on them! No promises :)

Well I for one have a whole bunch of broken, unused crayons around, and if you have small children I am going to bet too! What a beautiful way to use them in making these watercolor Crayon Dip Ornaments. You can really get creative with your colors and this only needs three things to make them. So break out your broken crayons and turn them into something stunning for your tree!
